This line never gets old, because it’s true.

In manufacturing, I’ve seen it with my own eyes.

You can hire the best people in the world…
but if your system is broken, they’ll spend more time fighting fires than doing great work.

Good people can’t fix bad processes on their own.
They burn out.
They lose motivation.

And eventually, the business pays the price:
in waste, rework, and missed opportunities.

That’s why I care so much about building smart systems.

Lean tools.
Clear work instructions.
Better testing.
Small improvements stacked up day after day.

So your people spend their energy creating value, not struggling with roadblocks.

It’s not magic.
It’s just better systems.

If you care about your people, fix the system first.
The rest will follow.
